1zanahoria mediana pelada y cortada en trozos de 1"

1tallo de apio cortado en trozos de 1"

1cebolla pequeña pelada y cortada en trozos de 1"

6cucharadas de mantequilla o margarina

1lata (14 oz) caldo de pollo o de vegetales

1 lata (11,5 oz) jugo de tomate

4tomates pelados sin centro, sin semillas*, cortados en cuatro

1/4 cucharadita sal

1/4 cucharaditablanca de pimienta

1/4 - 1/3 taza hojas de albahaca fresca sueltas

Coloque la zanahoria, el apio y la cebolla en el tazón con aspas para picar. Inserte el adaptador para picar en el cuerpo del motor y asegure el adaptador al tazón. Pique a velocidad 1 durante 10 segundos o hasta que quede picado fino. Déjelo a un lado.
