	FRU	Action
2	Toner Car-	Replace the toner cartridge if the cartridge is
	tridge	nearing the end of life.
3	Transfer	Check the transfer roll for toner buildup and con-
	Assembly	tamination. Clean the transfer roll by performing
		POST two or three times.
		Light print or black vertical streaks can be
		caused by an open transfer leakage current cir-
		cuit. Check the transfer roll right side contact,
		TFR board lead and the TFR Leakage board
		(PWB-T) for damage or poor contact.
		If light print is still a problem, replace the follow-
		ing FRUs one at a time in the order shown:
		HVPS
		Transfer Assembly
		TFR Leakage board PWB-T
		Engine board

Note: Toner on the back of the printed page can be caused by poor fusing, improper development, or incorrect charging.

	FRU	Action
1	Fuser Assem-	Check the hot roll and backup roll for toner
	bly	buildup. Clean or replace as necessary.
		If the fuser assembly is clean and functioning
		correctly, replace the following FRUs one at a
		time in the order shown:
		HVPS
		Engine board
