MAIN INVERTER BOARD RESISTANCE TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. Unauthorized repairs performed on this equipment may result in danger to the technician or machine operator and will invalidate your factory warranty. DESCRIPTION

This test will determine if the main inverter board has any “shorted” or “leaky” power diodes or Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors IGBT’s. Also it will indicate if P1 is “shorted” or “open”.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Analog Volt/Ohmmeter

Wiring Diagram

7mm Nut Driver

4mm Allen Wrench

Crescent Wrench
