Using Optional Network Features

Using Caller ID

If you subscribe to the calling line identity (caller ID)

feature, you can see who is calling before you answer. If

the caller is stored as a contact, the caller’s name and picture (if included when you added the contact) displays. Otherwise, the screen displays the caller’s phone number.

If caller ID information is not available for an incoming call, the screen displays Unknown.

Hiding your Caller ID

If you subscribe to the calling line identity restriction (CLIR) feature, you can prevent your number from showing when you call another number.

To hide your caller ID for the next phone call, tap Phone

>Hide ID.

Using Call Waiting

If you subscribe to the call waiting feature, the screen notifies you of an incoming call while a data call is in progress. The screen displays the following buttons:

Ignore – Tap to reject the incoming call.

Drop – Tap to answer the incoming call and drop the current data call.
