First, slide the battery

under the hook

Then rotate the battery

under the snaps

14On a slight angle, gently slide the top-right corner of the battery under the battery hook as shown at left.

While you rotate the battery into position, to avoid pinching the wires between the battery and the base, be sure the battery wires are not under the battery. Pinching the wires between the battery and the base:

May damage the wires

Will cause the battery to seat incorrectly

15Rotate the battery into position under the battery snaps as shown by the arrow at left. When the battery is fully seated, the snaps engage the battery base.

16Carefully replace the battery compartment cover. Do not force the cover closed. If the battery compartment cover does not close easily, check that:

The power cord is positioned correctly in its opening

The battery is correctly seated (you performed steps 14 to 15 correctly)
