You can create your own message groups. When you send a message to a group, the message is sent to all members of the group. Each group you create has a number or a name.
There are two types of groups: public and private. Other subscribers can send messages to a public group. Only you can send messages to a private group.
USING YOUR PHONE
1Call the voice messaging system, and enter your personal ID and security code if prompted.
2 Press 7 5 4 to create a new group, and do one of the following at the main menu:
•For numbered groups, enter a
•For named groups, enter the first three letters of the group’s name.
3Record a name for the group, and then press ✱ when finished.
4Press 1 to make the group a public group or press 2 to make it a private group.
5Follow the system instructions to add members to the group.
You can add members by name or extension number. If adding members by extension number, press # # to switch to number
mode.
Guests do not have extension numbers, so add them to the group by spelling their names or by entering their personal IDs.
