Split Function
The disk array controller supports the split function which can divide a single HDD into up to two blocks. The blocks of the HDD are specified as "Extent 1" and "Extent 2." If an arbitrary capacity is specified in creation of a logical drive, FastBuild Utility automatically uses the split function to divide a HDD into two blocks.
