To install an option card:
1Turn off the switch and remove the power cord.
2Remove the front bezel and top cover as shown in Figure 16.
3Remove the filler panel screw and pull out the filler panel as shown in Figure 19.
4Slide the option card into the intended slot. Make sure the card seats firmly and evenly in the card slot. If the card is not seated properly, it will not work.
5Replace the card and screw.
6Replace the and top cover and front bezel.
7Turn the switch on.
Installing Contivity 2500/2000/4000 DIMMs
Figure 20 shows you how to unlock a Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) in a Contivity 2500/2000/4000, and remove or install a DIMM. Install a DIMM in the next available slot (for example, if the DIMM #1 slot is populated, add the next DIMM to the DIMM #2 slot).
