-v= IP address of the printer (Creating an LPR port)

-m= The printer’s PPD file name. This should only be done after the PPD file has been copied to the appropriate folder.

3.Launch the system’s web browser and enter the following path: http://localhost:631/admin

4.You will be prompted for a User ID and Password.

User ID = Root

Password = Root Password

5.After entering the User ID and Password, click Manage Printers. The printer added in the previ- ous step appears.
