OkiLAN 6200e Plus User’s Guide

Example:

If the Network Print Server is installed on a server named SERVER 1 and assigned the queue name MPX- LPT, the following command issued from an OS/2 com- mand prompt would reassign LPT1:

C>NET USE LPT1 \\Server1\MPXLPT

If OS/2 does not recognize the network name, enter the following command from an OS/2 prompt on the server where the software utilities were installed:

C>NET SHARE MPXLPT /PRINT

Any applications using LPT1 will now print to the Net- work Print Server.
