What is the sensitivity?
The sensitivity is the level of brightness detected as motion by the camera. A high sensitivity setting enables the camera to detect slight brightness changes. Lower the sensitivity to make the camera detect only big brightness changes.

Note
Lowering the threshold and increasing sensitivity enable the camera to easily detect slight movements on parts of the image.
Note
•Motion Detection is activated by changes in the outline of objects and brightness changes. This feature is designed to alleviate false detections due to overall brightness changes caused by sunlight. But in some cases, the camera may falsely detect rapid brightness changes by artificial light such as fluorescent light. In other cases, the motion detection function on the Network Camera Recorder may detect objects and brightness changes. The way to detect motion differs between the camera and the Network Camera Recorder. Additionally, if the object's color is similar to the color of the background, motion can be hard to detect.
•The detection level depends on the object, resolution, or image quality. Confirm the condition on the Preview window following the procedure above.
