Making and Answering Calls

Making a voice call with the speakerphone

1	Press DIGITAL SP-PHONE .
	Display:		TEL=

	Dial the telephone number.
	Example:		TEL=2345678

●If you misdial, press DIGITAL SP-PHONEand start from step 1.

3	When the other party answers, talk into the
	microphone.
4	When finished talking, press
	DIGITAL SP-PHONE .

Note:

●If the TALK button on the handset is pressed while using the main unit, the call is switched to the handset and the main unit is disconnected.

To redial the last number

Regardless of whether the main unit or the handset was used, the last number dialed will be redialed.

1.Press DIGITAL SP-PHONE .

2.Press REDIAL/PAUSE .

●If the line is busy, the unit will automatically redial the number up to 14 times.

●During redial, the following will be displayed.

Display: WAITING REDIAL

Hints for the speakerphone operation

●Use the speakerphone in a quiet room.

●If you have difficulty hearing the other party,

adjust the volume using or .

●If you and the other party speak at the same time, parts of your conversation will be cut off.

●If the handset is on the main unit while using the speakerphone, you may switch to the handset by lifting it up.

To mute your voice to the other party

1.Press MUTE during a telephone conversation using the speakerphone.

Display:<MUTE>

●The other party cannot hear you, but you can hear them.

2.To resume the conversation, press MUTE again.
