• The DSS button light shows the current status as follows:

Off: The extension is idle.

Red on: You or another extension is using the line.

•Hands-free operation

You can have a conversation in the hands-free mode using the SP-PHONE button. You can then perform other tasks at the same time.

•Do you have an extension directory?

Complete the directory in 5.3 Directory and make a photo copy for your reference.

•For quick operation

If you are an operator or dial some extensions frequently, the DSS button is useful.

•Confirming the dialled number before connecting

You can go off-hook after confirming the number you dialled. If you misdial, press "" to clear each number from the right or press the R (FLASH) button to clear all numbers.
