Use the following information if your print server is not operating properly.

1.Verify that the printer is turned on.

If the printer is used on a Monarch Mobile Work Station (MWS), the MWS unit’s power AND the printer must be turned on. The print server does not function when the printer is turned off.

2.Verify the print server is functioning.

When the printer is turned on, the print server runs through a set of power-up diagnostics for a few seconds. All three LEDs blink momentarily. Then, the LEDs indicate the following activity:

3.Print a configuration label (see Chapter 1).

Press the test button on the print server for about a second and a label prints.
