C o n v e n t i o n s

This section uses the following conventions:

KEYwords	Type the capitalized letters of each keyword instead of
	the whole keyword. Some keywords require more
	capitalized letters than others. For example,
	SEt
	KEYVAL
[options	RAdio
	Mutually-exclusive options are included within square
]	brackets and separated by a forward slash. Select only
	ONE of the options. For example,
<values>	[DISable/STRICT/FLEXible]
	Values are included within brackets. Values that
	contain spaces (multiple words) must be enclosed
	within quotation marks (""). For example,
	SEt EN PW <value>
n	SEt EN PW "Store 876"
	Numeric digits are indicated by the letter (n). For
	example,		BOot	n

A c c e s s i n g T e l n e t C o n s o l e M o d e

1.Start a Telnet session.

2.Type telnet 192.0.0.192 (your printer’s IP address) and press Enter.

3.You see “Welcome to MonarchNet2 Enter Password:”

Type access as the password and press Enter. (access is the default password.)

The password is case-sensitive.Depending on your printer’s firmware version, you may not be prompted for a username.

Note: The Telnet session times out after 10 minutes of inactivity.
