5.3.4 Adjustment and setting in the Menu Mode

1)Power Management Setting

When no video signal (synchronizing signal) is detected, this function automatically sets the energy saving state to save power.

•To disable the energy saving function, set to [OFF].

•When there is PC signal input:

To switch between the normal-operation state and the energy saving state is depended upon the presence of an input signal, set ‘POWER MANAGEMENT’ to [ON].

Factory setting: OFF

1Select ‘SETUP‘.

2Place the cursor over ‘POWER MANAGEMENT’ and change the setting with the [SET] button.

Each time the [SET] button is pressed, the setting is changed as shown below.

•To return from the energy saving state (by power management) to the normal operation state, operate the PC or press the [INPUT] button on the remote control or main-control panel.

However, during SYNC ON G or composite SYNC input, operation does not return by simply operating the personal computer. After operating the personal computer, press the [INPUT] button.
