1If you have not already done so, install the shutter-opening software on your com- puter as follows. (This software opens the shutter, allowing you to clean the cam- era optics.)

aCopy the file DMC 2 SHUTTER OPENER INSTALLER from the DMC 2 CD (provided with the camera) to the desktop.

bDouble-click DMC 2 Shutter Opener Installer.

cFollow instructions on the screen.

No special installation is necessary. (The shutter-opening software is installed during DMC 2 software installation.)
