Single Registration

The SoundStation IP 7000 phone supports a single registration.

 

When the phone is unable to register with the call control server, the icon

 

is shown (outline). Once the phone is able to register, the icon

is

shown (solid).

The network bandwidth necessary to send the encoded voice is typically 5-10%

 

 

 

(confirm number) higher than the encoded bit rate due to packetization overhead.

 

 

 

For example, a G.722.1C call at 48kbps consumes 5xkbps of network bandwidth.
