Replacing the Toner Bottle

DRelease the green lever and gen- tly slide the toner holder out until it stops.

Important

❒If you continue to push the green lever to slide the toner holder, the toner holder might be dropped.

EPress the toner bottle backward (A) to raise its head (B), then gently pull out the bottle.

FMove the new toner bottle back and forth about 5 - 6 times (A), and remove the black cap of the new toner bottle by turning it counterclockwise (B).

GPut the toner bottle on the printer side of the toner holder (A), then push its head downwards to lock it in place (B).

HSlide the toner holder into the printer until it clicks into place,

and push down the green handle. 5

IClose the front cover.

Important

❒Do not remove the inside cap.

Note

❒After removing the black cap from the bottle, toner can scatter easily. Do not shake or jar the bottle.
