Clearing Memory

You can selectively clear information stored in your product’s memory.

1Press Setup.

2Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “7. MEMORY CLEAR” on the display and then press Enter.

3Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you find the item you want to clear. You can also enter the number of the desired item.

•FAX NUMBER/NAME: your fax number and name are cleared from memory.

•DIAL/SCHEDULE: clears the phonebook numbers, one-touch, speed dial, or group dial numbers stored in the memory. Also, all Schedule Job operations reserved are cancelled.

•JOURNAL: clears all records of transmissions and receptions.

•DEFAULT SETUP: restores all settings to their factory defaults.

4Press Enter when your choice appears in the display.

The selected item is cleared.	6

5Repeat steps 1 through 4 to clear another item.
