Advanced Faxing

Broadcasting

Documents are automatically stored in memory and sent to a remote station. Use this feature to send your documents to multiple locations. After sending, the documents are automatically erased from the memory.

NOTE: You can not use colour mode in broadcast mode.

1Load the document(s) face down into the document feeder. “DOCUMENT READY” appears in the display.

2You can adjust the resolution and the contrast to suit your fax needs. For details, see page 5.3.

3Press Setup.

4Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “4.ADVANCED FAX” and then press Enter.

5The display shows the first menu “BRAODCASTING”. Press Enter.

6Enter the phone number of the remote fax machine using the number keypad.

You can also use a one-touch button or press Speed then use a 2-digit speed dial number.

7Press Enter to confirm the number. The display asks you to enter another fax number to send the document too.

8Select “1.YES” by pressing 1 and repeat from step 6 to enter another fax number.

Note that you cannot use Group dial numbers for another fax number.
