5Choose the desired status by pressing the Scroll

buttons ( or ) or enter the desire number using the number keypad.

6Press Enter to save the selection.

7Repeat from step 1 to set other data options if necessary. You can exit from setup mode at any time by pressing Cancel/Reset.

These instructions assume you’ve followed the steps under “Setting an Option” on page 5.38 and the product is prompting you to change one of the options listed here.

•SEND FROM MEMORY : If you are annoyed that you have to wait until documents in the ADF are sent out when you try to send or reserve another fax, turn this feature on. With this feature enabled, all transmission documents are automatically scanned into memory before transmission.

•SENDING CONFIRM : A message confirmation report shows whether the transmission was successful or not, how many pages were sent, etc.

Select ON to print a confirmation report automatically each time you send a fax.

Select OFF to turn this feature off.

Select ERROR to print only when an error occurs and the transmission was not successful.

•FAX PAPER SIZE : Select the paper size you will use for

the recording paper. Sizes available are: LETTER, A4. LEGAL.
