Changing Default Settings

The copy options including copy quality, contrast, number of copies and copy size can be set to the most frequently used modes. When a document is copied, the default settings will be used unless otherwise you do not change for the individual copy job by using the corresponding buttons on the front panel.

To create your own default settings:

1 Press Setup on the front panel. The display shows	3
“1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the bottom line.

2Press Enter.

3Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) repeatedly until you see “SET DEFAULT”.

4Press Enter. The display shows the first option “CONTRAST”.

5Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) repeatedly to scroll through the available setup options.

6When the desired option appears, press Enter.

7Change the setting using the Scroll buttons ( or ) and then press Enter to save the selection.

8Repeat steps 5 through 7 as necessary.

9To return to Standby mode, press Cancel/Reset.
