Setting Default Resolution and Contrast

You can set the default document settings including contrast and resolution. The default mode will be used when a document is sent unless you change the setting for individual operation.

1Press Setup. The display shows “1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the bottom line.

2Press Enter.

3Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “SET DEFAULT”.

4 Press Enter. The display shows the first option “CONTRAST”.

5 To set the default contrast, press Enter. Or,

To set the default resolution, press the Scroll buttons
( or ) until you see “RESOLUTION” and then press
Enter.	5

6Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see the desired mode in the display.

7Press Enter to save the selection.

8Press Cancel/Reset to return to Standby mode.
