Recording Monitored Video

Recording Video from Multiple DVRs Concurrently

Display the live video streams from multiple DVRs you want to record, and repeat the basic operating steps (P37).

Once the DVRs start recording live video, they continue the recording process even if they are disconnected from the DVR Utility Software and their video streams are not displayed in the viewing pane. Therefore, you can proceed with the recording process with any number of DVRs.

To stop the recording for a DVR, display the live video from that DVR, and then stop the recording.

Live Video Recording Without Viewing It

When you use manual recording mode to record live video, you can also control the recording without displaying the live video on the viewing pane. Simply select your desired camera from the tree list and click the appropriate control button to make the DVR start or stop recording the live video. This can also be done from within windows accessible from the [DVR Management] and [Tool] menus.

The broadcast feature allows you to instruct all the DVRs simultaneously to start or stop recording. For more information, see P70.
