Saving Master

The machine automatically changes the master length depending on the paper size you use. This saves both master and ink.

Limitation

❒The optional document feeder is required.

Note

❒This function is turned on when you use A4, 81/2" × 11" K or B5K paper and you set 2 or more origi- nals in the optional document feeder.

❒You can cancel Master Saving

mode with the user tools. See “Master Cut Length” in ⇒ P.139 “4. Mode Setting”. You can also

save master using the optional A4, 81/2" × 11" drum. See ⇒ P.90 “Changing The Drum Size”.
