Setting the handset

You can change the standard settings of the handset if you are not happy with them.

Setting the speaker volume

You can adjust the speaker volume during a call. The fol- lowing volumes are adjustable:

•Volume in handset mode. Three volume levels are possible.

•Volume in speakerphone mode. Five volume levels are possible. You can only change the speakerphone volume if the speakerphone is active (Æ Page 39).

You are on a call.

Open the menu for setting the volume. Either the "Handset Volume" menu is displayed in handset mode or the "Handsfree Volume" menu is displayed in speak- erphone mode.

Open the menu if the upper side of the control key is programmed with another function, forexample, when toggling.

Select the menu item and confirm.
