If the capacity of the Memory Stick is not sufficient for sampling or compiling, the message above is displayed. In this case, change the Memory Stick to another one or delete unnecessary data in the Memory Stick.

To change to another Memory Stick

1Change the Memory Stick to another one having sufficient capacity.

2Press the F2 key (Change MS).

Note

When a Memory Stick is changed, “Please insert MS” message may appear if the DRE-S777 cannot recognize the Memory Stick. In this case, press the F2 key again.

To delete unnecessary data

1Press the F4 key (Delete). The SETUP display appears.

2Press the F2 key to select the data to be deleted.

Each time the F2 key is pressed, Fs Compiled, 2Fs Compiled and Sampled are displayed in sequence, and the memory numbers and memory labels of the selected data type are displayed.

Fs Compiled and 2Fs Compiled indicate the compiled data, and Sampled indicates the sampled data.

3Turn the jog dial to highlight the memory label to be deleted, and press the F4 key.

“Delete this file?” is displayed.

4To delete the data, press the F4 key.

Deleting is performed and the remaining data list is displayed.

To cancel deleting, press the F3 key (Esc) in place of the F4 key. The display in step 2 returns.

To delete other data, repeat steps 2 to 4.

5To finish deleting, press the F3 key (Exit).

The previous display returns, and you can continue sampling or compiling.
