Reverb Modes and Arrangement during Sampling

The reverb program sampled and compiled using the DASK-S704 includes the sampling data of “Mono in Stereo out” mode only. Therefore, when you reproduce the reverb program, normally set the reverb mode to “Mono in Stereo out.”

However, if you arrange the speaker and microphone positions as in the following examples when you sample, you can obtain “Mono in 4ch out” or “Stereo in Stereo out” effects by combining the sampled data.

To obtain the “Mono in 4ch out” effectWhen sampling

Perform two types of sampling using the DASK-S704.

Sampling C12: Set the speaker in position C and direct microphones 1 and 2 forward.

Sampling C56: Set the speaker in position C and direct microphones 5 and 6 backward.

When reproducing the reverb program

1Set the Rev mode to “Split in 4ch out” on the SETUP display of the sampling reverb software.

2On the REVERB display, load the sampling C12 data to SPLIT CH1-2, and the sampling C56 data to SPLIT CH3-4.
