Paperparking

Afterloadingfanfoldpaper,youdo nothaveto unloaditwhen youwantto

printon asinglesheet.The printerwill “park”itfor you if youfollow the

procedurebelow.

1. Tobegin paperparking,start withpower ON,fanfoldpaper loadedin

printingposition,andthe releaseleverup.

2. Pressthe ONLINEbuttononthecontrolpanelto set theprinteroff-line.

ONLINEindicatorwillturnoff.

3. Tearoff the printedformat thelast perforation,leavingnotmore than

abouthalfapage showingabovethe topcover.If necessary,press the

PAPER FEED buttonto feedpaperforward untilaperforationislocated

just abovethetop cover,and tearthere.

4. Pressthe FONT buttonand holdit down.

5. WhileholdingtheFONTbuttondown,pressthe PAPER FEED buttonon

thecontrolpanel.

Theprinterwill automaticallyfeedthefanfoldform backwarduntilthe

paperis completelyfreeof the platen.

6. Movethe releaseleverto thedown position.

7. Mountthepaper guidein theuprightposition.

Nowyou can load single sheetseither automaticallyormanually,as ex-

plainedpreviously.The fanfoldpaper remainsparked at the backof the

printer.

Paperunparking

Whenyouwantto resumeusing fanfoldpaper,theprocedureisas follows.

1. Removeallsingle sheetsfromthe printer.

2. Mountthepaper guidein thehorizontalposition.

3. Movetherelease leverto the upposition.

4. WithPowerON,movethebaillever forward.Thepnnterwillautomati-

callyfeed theparkedfanfold paperbackinto positionforprinting.

5. Movethebail leverback toclose thebail.Now youare readyto print.
