Shorttest mode

Iftheprinteris turnedonwhiletheONLINEbuttonispressed,theprinterwill

enterthe shortself-testmode. Theprinterwill startprinting assoon asthe

ONLINEbuttonisreleased,andwillprintthe versionnumberoftheprinter’s

ROM,followedby six linesof thecharacterset.

Eachline will beoffset by onecharacterfrom the onebefore it.The final

resultwillbe somethinglike Figure2-3.
