likethe IBM PropnnterHI. The ON positionselects standardmode. The

OFFpositionselectsIBM mode.

Switch 1-2: Does yoursoftwaredownloadcharactersto theprinter?

Inordertodownloadcharactemthisswitchmustbeinthe OFFposition.The

printer then uses its RAM memory for storing characterpatterns and

providesonlyaone-lineprintbuffer.IfyouleavethisswitchON,the printer

usesitsRAMmemoryasan inputbuffer,allowingthecomputerto senddata

fasterthanthe printerprints.
