Theadapter environment conguration properties dene how the adapter connects to and
interactswith other Java CAPS components within the environment. The environment
propertiesare accessed from the NetBeans IDE Services window. The following sections
provideinstructions on how to congure Java CAPS component environment properties and
liststhe environment properties for the various communications adapters.
ConguringTCP/IP HL7 Adapter Environment
Properties
Theadapter environment conguration properties contain parameters that dene how the
adapterconnects to and interacts with other Java CAPS components within the environment.
Theenvironment properties are accessed from the NetBeans IDE Services window.

Fromthe NetBeans Services window, expandthe C APS Environmentsnode.
Expandthe environment created for yourproject and locate the External System for your
specicadapter.
Right-clickthe External System and select Properties.
TheEnvironment Conguration Properties window appears.
Onthe Properties Editor,click on any folder in the left panel to display the properties for that
section.

EnvironmentProperties” on page 94.
Clickon any property eld to modify it.
Onceyou have nished modifying the properties, click OK to saveyour changes and close the
editor.
