CAUTION

When formatting, use a TASCAM PS-P520 AC adaptor (sold separately), USB bus power or confirm that the batteries have sufficient remaining power.

Card write protection

SD cards have write-protection switches that prevent new data from being written to them.

Special cases

••	If you insert an SD card that has been formatted by a device
	other than another LR-10, the FORMAT ERRORscreen will
	appear. In this case, format the card to use it with this unit.
	SD cards that have been formatted by a TASCAM DR series
	device, however, are compatible with this model.
••	If the system file or another important file has been
	accidentally erased from the SD card when accessing it
	from a computer, the following pop-up screen appears.

In this case, press the Á button to format the card again.

UnprotectedProtected

If you slide the protect switch to the “LOCK” position, file recording and editing will not be possible. Move the switch to the unlocked position in order to record, erase and otherwise edit data on the card.
