	19–Troubleshooting
ªªThe recording level is low.
••	Confirm that the input level setting is not too low.
••	Confirm that the GAINsetting is not too low.
••	Confirm that the output level of a connected external
	device is not too low.

ªªThe sound I am trying to record sounds distorted.

•• Is the INPUT LEVELsetting low and the input gain setting high?

ªªThe playback sounds unnatural.

••	Confirm that the playback pitch is not being adjusted.
••	Confirm that the playback speed is not being adjusted.

ªªI cannot erase a file.

•• Is the SD card write-protect switch engaged?

ªªThis unit’s files do not appear on the computer.

••	Confirm that the unit is connected to the computer using
	its USB port.
••	Are you using a USB hub?
••	Confirm that the unit is not recording or in recording
	standby mode.
