Setting the date and time

Using its internal clock, this unit remembers the date and time when a file is recorded.

1Press the MENU key to open the MENUScreen.

2Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/MIC buttons to select DATE/TIME, and press the Áor ¯button.

3Use the Â/¯buttons to move the cursor, and use the VALUE (+/–) buttons to change values.

4Press the Ábutton to confirm the change and return to the MENU screen.

NOTE

You can set the unit to automatically add the date and time to file names. (See “Setting the file name format” on page 85.)

CAUTION

The date and time setting can only be maintained for a few minutes when the unit is not powered by batteries,

USB bus power or an AC adaptor. When using batteries, we recommend that you replace or recharge them before they completely lose power.
