12–Using the built-in effects

This unit has built-in effects that can be applied to the input signal during both practice and recording.

Turning the effects ON and OFF

Press the EFFECT button briefly to turn the effects ON or OFF. When ON, the effect last set on the EFFECTScreen becomes

active, and the FX icon ( ) appears as light letters on a dark background.

Setting the effect

Press and hold the EFFECT button to open the EFFECT screen.

Use the Â/¯ buttons to select the desired item. (When selected, the setting value appears as light letters on a dark background.) Use the VALUE (+/–)buttons to change the setting value.

REVERB

Select the type of reverb to use.

LEVEL knob

Use the REVERB item to adjust the output level of the selected reverb type.

TIME knob

Use the PRESETitem to adjust the reverb time of the selected reverb type. The reverb time range is set optimally for each type of reverb. For this reason, the length of the reverb might differ between reverb types even with the same setting value.

SOURCE

Use this to set whether the effect is applied to the input signal (INPUT) or the playback signal (PLAY).

The default setting is PLAY.
