6. Press the [ª] button to stop recording.

Starting and pausing recording automatically (AUTO REC)

This unit can be set to automatically start and pause recording in response to the level of the input signal.

1.Press the MENU button to open the MENU screen.

2.Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/MIC buttons to select the AUTO REC menu item, and press the Á or ¯ button to open the AUTO RECscreen.

3.Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/MIC buttons to select the MODEitem.4.Use the VALUE (+/-) buttons to set it to ON.

5.Press the §/BROWSE or ¶/MIC button to select the

STARTLEVELitem.

6.Use the VALUE (+/–) buttons to set the input signal detection level to -6dB, -12dB(default value), -24dBor

-48dB.

7.After completing the setting, press the HOME button to return to the Home Screen.

8.Press the RECORD [º] button to start recording standby and RECORD [º] button indicator blinks.

Press and hold the RECORD [º] button to enable the pre-record function and put the unit into recording standby.
