Even if there is no playlist, you can still set the playback area to PLAYLIST. Doing so, however, will cause the No PLAYLISTpop-up to appear every time you press the

Âor ¯ button because you cannot change to another file.

NOTE

The current playback area setting (ALL, FOLDERor P.LIST) is shown at the bottom left of the Home Screen.

Regardless of the current playback area, if you select a folder on the BROWSEScreen, the playback area changes to the selected folder.

1.On the Home Screen, press the §/BROWSE button to open the BROWSE screen.

2.Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/MIC buttons to select the desired folder (light on dark).

For instructions about using the BROWSEscreen, see “BROWSE screen navigation” on page 57.

3.Press the Á button to open the pop-up menu shown below.
