2 Open the jam releasing cover.

3 Holding the green knob, open the transport guide. If no mis- fed paper can be found on the exit side, perform step 8 and subsequent steps in Tip.

A

4 Open the cover of the Bridge Unit (optional). When the Fin- isher (optional) is not installed, skip this step.

5 Rotate the green dial down- ward as indicated by the arrow to move the paper to the exit side.
