Removing the Fan & CPU

To remove the heat sink, and CPU, first remove the display assembly, keyboard, top cover, MDC card, USB board, wireless module, system fan, and VGA board. Then follow the steps below:

1.Turn the system board over and remove the four M2.5x4 screws from the heat sink. Follow the order indicated by the numbers on the heat sink to remove the screws.

2.Lift and remove the heat sink from the system board.
