Front Panel Features

The front panel:

Displays the printer’s operating status (for example, Printing, Ready to Print, printer errors and warnings).

Alerts you to load paper, replace supplies, and clear jams.

Enables you to access tools and information pages to help resolve problems. Enables you to change printer and network settings.

Go to Reference/Features/Printer Settings on the User Documentation CD-ROMfor details about front panel settings.

Note

The front panel prompts you to select the paper type when a tray is pulled out and reinserted into the printer.
