Your Prestige is compatible with remote access products from other manufacturers such as Ascend, Cisco, and 3Com. Furthermore, it supports Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT remote access capability.

The modems support either K56flex™ or X2™ standard, depending on the modem module installed in your Prestige. In either case, the modem is firmware upgradable to V.90, which is the latest international standard sanctioned by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union).
