24If you are using a Remote Emergency Power5Off (REPO) switch, follow the instructions in •REPO Installation" on page 31.

25Start the UPS according to the •UPS with Bypass ￿odule Startup" procedure on page 33.

REPO Installation

WARNING Only qualified service personnel (such as a licensed electrician) should perform the hardwired installation.

The REPO switch is a customer5supplied switch that can disconnect UPS output voltage from your protected equipment. To use a REPO switch, you need external wiring and a switch with the following specifications:

￿The switch should be a wall5mounted, momentary5contact, normally open, pushbutton switch.

￿￿inimum ratings of 240 Vac and 35 mA.

￿Wire should be 18 AWG minimum.

CAUTION The black and white REPO wires are at high'voltage potential (240V). Refer to your local electrical code for proper installation of the high'voltage REPO wires.
