ASAI Installation

Prerequisites for ASAI Installation

To install the Adjunct/Switch Application Interface feature on the CONVERSANT Voice Information System (VIS) Version 3.1, you need the following:

One or more Tip/Ring cards (IVP4, IVP6, or a VRS6) with Signal Processor installed

OR

one or more T1 cards (AYC11 or AYC3B) with Signal Processor installed

Network Support Utilities (1.2) Version 2.0

One ISDN PC Interface (IPCI) card

The Adjunct/Switch Application Interface feature package

Configurator program output

For information on installing the VIS software and hardware, refer to the CON- VERSANT Voice Information System Software Installation and Upgrade and the hardware installation and upgrade book for your platform.

NOTE:

Confirm that Adjunct/Switch Application Interface is installed and available on the switch you are using. Refer to the DEFINITY Communications Sys- tem Generic 1 and Generic 3i Installation and Test Manual , 555-230-104.
