10.Next, the package prompts you for the Interrupt Vector Number (IVN) of the IPCI card. Refer to the output of the configuration program to determine what interrupt number to use. Type in the number you have selected and then press ENTER . If you wish to cancel the software installation process at this time, you may type q to abort installation.
11.You are now prompted to enter the Memory Address of the card. Refer to the information under “RAMADDR” from the output of the configuration pro- gram for this setting for the IPCI card.
12.The UNIX system will now be rebuilt. This takes approximately 2 minutes to complete.
13.When prompted, remove the disk from the drive.
14.Press ENTER to shutdown the system.
15. When prompted, reboot the system. While holding down CONTROL and ALT press and release DELETE on the numeric keypad, then release
CONTROL and ALT .
16.Log in to the system as root.
17.Type installpkg at the UNIX system prompt.
18.Insert the floppy disk labeled “CONVERSANT ASAI Package Version 3.1” and press ENTER .
19.Remove the floppy disk when prompted, and load the remaining floppies into the disk drive when directed to do so. Press ENTER .
20.If the Voice System is running, the system asks you whether you wish to stop the voice system. Type y and then press ENTER to stop the voice system.
21.A message appears stating that the installation of the ASAI package is now complete.
22.A message appears asking you if you wish to restart the voice system.Type y and then press ENTER if you wish to start the voice system at this time.Type n if you do not wish to start the voice system at this time (that is, if you have other software packages to load).
You have now completed loading the ASAI software. Refer to Chapter 4, "ASAI Administration" to begin work with the various ASAI features and capabilities.
