CORDLESS PHONE DISPLAY

The cordless phone display shows the following icons and information:

-” BATTERY LEVEL icon

When the cordless phone is on the battery charger, the three segments of the icon light up in sequence to indicate that the batteries are charging. When the batteries are fully charged, the three segments remain on steady. When the cordless phone is not on the battery charger, the segments indicate the battery charge level: from one segment (batteries almost discharged) to three segments (batteries fully charged). When the batteries are completely discharged, the cordless phone is turned off automatically: in this case, put the cordless phone immediately on the battery charger, to start charging.

-Current time (always in 24-hour format)

-Current date (the year is not indicated)

-” ALARM icon

This icon is displayed in place of the date only if the alarm has been set.

-” or “ ” COMMUNICATION icon

This icon is displayed in place of the date only while a telephone call is in progress. The icon also indicates whether it is an external call or an internal call.

-” SMS icon

This icon is only displayed when you have received SMS that you haven’t read yet. If the memory for received SMS is full, the icon becomes “” and starts blinking.

” HANDSFREE icon

This icon is shown when you have turned on the handsfree function.

” RANGE icon

This icon indicates whether the cordless phone is within range of the fax machine (the maximum range is about 250 metres in an open field and optimum operating conditions). When the cordless phone is not on the battery charger or is not registered on any base, this icon blinks.

Name of cordless phone (“Handset” in figure)

ID number of cordless phone (“2” in figure)

” CALL LIST icon

This icon is only displayed when you did not answer some incoming calls (if the service has been enabled).

” PHONE BOOK icon

” MESSAGES ON ANSWERING DEVICE icon

This icon is only displayed when there are incoming messages or memos recorded on the fax machine. The number of incoming messages or memos is indicated above the icon. If there are incoming messages or memos that you have not yet played, the icon blinks. If you have played all the incoming messages or memos recorded on the fax machine, the icon will remain on steady. If the memory for incoming messages and

memos recorded on the fax machine is full, the icon becomes “”.

” KEYPAD LOCK icon

This icon is shown in place of the PHONE BOOK icon only if you locked

the keypad by pressing the and keys in sequence.
