TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE CORDLESS PHONE

1.Press the upper or lower part of the key

until the display shows:

HANDSET SETTINGS

2.Press function key F3:

until the display shows:

HANDSET NAME

5.Type in the name to be assigned to the cordless phone (max. 10 characters), using the alphanumeric keys on the keypad of the cordless phone. Function key F2

() may be used to switch from upper-case to lower-case mode and vice versa. To delete an incorrect

character to the left of the cursor, press the key.

6.To confirm the name of the cordless phone, press function key F3:

TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE ON THE CORDLESS PHONE

If desired, you can change the language of the messages displayed on the cordless phone. Remember, however, that if you do this, the language will not be changed automatically on the fax machine (you will therefore have different languages set on the two devices).

TO TURN THE WARNING TONES ON/OFF

The cordless phone uses 3 types of warning tones, which you may turn on or off, as you like: key tones, the battery low warning tone and the cordless phone out of range tone.

TO CHANGE THE PIN

The fax machine’s PIN is used to register cordless phones and to change some sensitive parameters. The PIN is made up of 4 digits, and the one set by default is "0000". If desired, you can change the PIN as follows:
