Chapter 3 Sending Documents

Rapid Key Dialing

If the number you want to dial has been stored for automatic dialing as a Speed Dial number from 01 to 38 (see "Storing Numbers for Automatic Dialing" in Chapter 2), you can dial it by pressing the corresponding Rapid Key. (If the Speed Dial number is from 20 to 38, press the SHIFT key and then press the Rapid key.)

Example: To dial Speed Dial number "02", press Rapid Key 02/21.

Example: To dial Speed Dial number "21", press the SHIFT key and then press Rapid Key 02/21.

The name of the receiving party will appear in the display. If no name was stored, the fax number will appear. (If the name or number is incorrect, press the STOP key.)

The document will be automatically transmitted once the connection is made.

Speed Dialing

Speed Dialing can be used to dial any number which has been stored for auto- matic dialing (see "Storing Numbers for Automatic Dialing" in Chapter 2).

1 Press the SPEED DIAL key and then en- ter the two digits of the Speed Dial num- ber by pressing the number keys.

To enter numbers 1 through 9, first en- ter 0 and then the number.

2 Check the display. If the name or num- ber shown is correct, press the START key. (If not, press the STOP key and then repeat Step 1.)
