4.If you finish your memo in fewer than 60 seconds, press play/stop (only once) to stop recording. Otherwise, the fax machine will beep and automatically stop recording at the 60-second mark.

If you want to save a new memo, just record it over the existing one using the steps above. Your new message will replace the previous memo.
